1. What was your favorite Scouting activity?
The Folsom Lake hikes, which were six individual hikes, 10 miles each around the entire lake.
2. Which of the 12 characteristics of the Scout law would you say best describes you?
Probably trustworthy because I do a pretty good job of following through on my personal commitments that I make to others. However, I am also extremely loyal to those around me too.
3. What is you best memory from Scouting?
Attending Scout Camp at Marin Sierra due to the fact that we had a cohesive group that attended and we had an incredibly fun time, enjoyable all around.
4. What advice would you give a Tenderfoot?
Not to project toward the daunting task of earning and achieving the rank of Eagle Scout but to be in the moment and enjoy what is required of that rank at that time. Also, make sure you enjoy all of your experiences and what is happening around you, be sure to attend and participate in opportunities like Summer Scout Camp, different overnight adventures, hikes and Merit Badge work shops. Have fun. That’s No. 1!
5. Where do you go from here?
I take my prior knowledge of Scouting and use it in my everyday life by applying my motto, oath and slogan. Hopefully someday return to Scouting, if I have a son and get him involved by being involved later in my life and paying it forward.
Campbell is from Troop 6, Meadow Vista.
