Ballots coming soon for Placer County residentsBy: Staff report
All Placer County registered voters should expect to receive in their mailboxes the June 5 Statewide Direct Primary Election Sample Ballot Pamphlet. Sample ballot pamphlets will begin to mailed on April 26.
The sample ballot pamphlet will provide voters with important information about items to be voted on this election. In addition, voters’ polling place locations are listed on the back cover of the sample ballot pamphlet.
Those who are a permanent vote-by-mail voter or if those residing in a mail ballot precinct, pamphlets will read Permanent Vote-by-Mail Voter or Mail Ballot Precinct in the polling place location area of the pamphlet.
For voters who are not permanent vote-by-mail voters and voters who do not reside in a mail ballot precinct, the back cover of the sample ballot pamphlet can be used as a vote-by-mail ballot application. Simply sign the form return it to the Placer County Elections Office or call to request a ballot to be mailed: 530-886-5650 or toll-free in California 1-800-824-8683. Permanent Vote-by-Mail Voters a request for a vote-by-mail ballot is not necessary. You will automatically receive your ballot in the mail.
Vote-by-mail ballots will begin mailing on May 7. Download a request for a vote-by-mail ballot at placerelections.com or call 530-886-5650. Vote-by-mail ballots are available from May 7 until Election Day, June 5 at 2956 Richardson Drive in Auburn.
