Ralph Gibson, director of Placer County Museums, will be the featured speaker for Auburn Library’s Noon Program. Gibson’s talk, “What’s Old But Really New, A Glimpse into Auburn’s New Museum,” will focus is on work behind getting new DeWitt Museum open to the public. He will also include information on completing the remaining exhibits in the Gold Rush Museum in time for its Grand Opening Aug. 17.
The event will take place noon to 1 p.m. in the Beecher Room at Auburn Library, 350 Nevada St., Auburn.
This will be the library’s last program of the season. New Noon Programs start up Sept. 21.
