Colfax High soccer camp July 11-14

Colfax High School’s boys’ and girls’ soccer programs will combine efforts to host a soccer camp for area boys and girls ages 5 through incoming ninth-graders.

The camp will focus on small group training for all campers from current Colfax High players and certified USSF/NSCAA Nationally Licensed coaching staff of both the Falcons boys’ and girls’ teams.

The camp will be held at the Colfax High Soccer field from 6 to 8 p.m. daily July 11 to July 14.

Cost of the camp is $75. However, if paid by June 1, cost is just $55. Sibling discounts are available at $50 for second and third child and $35 for fourth and more children.

Cost of the camp includes instruction, camp T-shirt and camp photo.

Youth soccer signups

The Colfax Youth Soccer Club has started registrations for the 2016 season. All registrations are being taken online at Players who register in May receive an early-  bird discount.

The league is open to boys and girls ages 5-14. Starting June 1, a late registration fee of $25 will be applied. Last day to register is June 15. For more league information, visit the club’s website. 


Jr. Falcons signups underway

The Colfax Jr. Falcons have extended their “March Madness” signup special for the upcoming 2016 season through May 31.

According to Jr. Falcons official Kristy Brothers, the program for football players and cheerleaders has extended its $50-off registration fee through May 31. Signups can be done online at


Boys’ basketball camp

Colfax High’s boys’ summer basketball camp is set for June 13 to 16 at Colfax High. According to camp director Terry O’Keefe, the camp will run daily from noon to 2:30 p.m.

The camp is open to boys’ basketball players in fourth through sixth-grades. Cost of the camp is $90, which includes a camp T-shirt. Daily instruction from the Colfax High boys’ basketball coaching staff and current varsity players will focus on fundamentals, individual skill development and team 3x3 and 5x5 games.
