Lady Falcons Golf Tournament June 4

Colfax High’s girls’ basketball team will host its Lady Falcons Classic fundraising golf tournament on Sunday, June 4 at Black Oak Golf Course.

The tournament will be played under a four-player scramble format. Entry fee is $55 per player, which includes golf, cart, breakfast and lunch.

Tee sponsorships are also available, ranging from $200 to $1,000. To RSVP a foursome or sign up as a single, contact Rich Simpton at (530) 559-5911.  Entry forms are also available on the Colfax High website.

 

Ed Fontana Memorial Golf Classic

The Colfax Recreation Association will sponsor its inaugural Ed Fontana Memorial Classic golf tournament on Saturday, June 10 at Auburn Valley County Club.

The tournament will consist of a four-person scramble format with a shotgun start with check in at 8 a.m. and golf beginning at 9 a.m. Entry for the tournament is $125 per player, which includes golf, cart, range balls, gift bag, post tournament dinner and chances to win great raffle prizes.

Lady  Falcons’ Volleyball Camp

 

Colfax High’s 2017 Lady Falcon Girls’ Volleyball Camp is set for June 19 to 22 at the high school.

According to camp director Haley Biles, the camp is open to girls in incoming grades four through nine. Cost for the camp with pre-registration is $75. Camp fee at the door will be $80.

Sessions for girls in grades four through sixth will be from 5 to 7 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. for girls in grades seven through nine. Camp attendees should bring shoes, kneepads and water bottle.

Registration forms are available at local area middle and elementary schools and by also going online at the Colfax High School website and clicking on athletics and going forward to the summer camps link.

Lady Falcons’ Basketball Camp

This year’s Colfax High Lady Falcons’ Basketball Camp is slated for June 19 to 22 with times of 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. daily.

The camp will provide both individual and group instruction in the fundamentals of basketball with an emphasis on dribbling, shooting, passing, footwork and defense.  There will also be game play, tournament play and individual contests.

The camp is open to girls entering grades four to eight with pre-registration cost set at $90. Players can also register at the door starting at 8:30 a.m. on June 19 for $100.

All campers will receive a Lady Falcons Camp T-shirt. Registration forms are available at area elementary schools or by visiting the Colfax High School website and going to the summer sports camp link.

Colfax High youth soccer camp

Colfax High’s boys’ and girls’ soccer programs will combine forces to host the 2017 Colfax Soccer Camp set for June 13 to 15 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. daily at the Colfax High School soccer field.

The camp is open to boys and girls ages 5 through incoming ninth-grade students. Cost for the camp, which includes a camp T-shirt is $55 if paid by June 1 and $65 at the day of the camp.

Sibling discounts are available at $40 for the second and third child and $25 for the fourth child.
