Roy Toms Plaza events include Colfax Garden Club Plant Sale opening at 8 a.m. Sierra Vista Community Center activities include first annual Cycle Colfax Rivers & Ridge Bike Ride at 8 a.m.; Art Show, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; vendors open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Local Fire Safety information, 9 a.m.; presentation on Bear River Trails, 10:30 a.m.; Hawaiian luau-style meal with Hawaiian music, and hula and fire dancing, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., tickets $7 to $12; and Fabric Art and Paper Mache workshop, 1 p.m.

Accepting electronic and office equipment, small household appliances, plus VCRs, telephones and digital cameras. Not accepting large household appliances, paint, used oil, cleaning supplies, fluorescent light bulbs and tires.
