 “Animal Crackers,” a Colfax High School production of the Marx Brothers musical, 7 p.m. May 9-11; 2 p.m. May 11. Tickets are students for $5 and $10 for adults. Colfax High School Performing Arts Center.

Free E-waste Collection fundraiser to benefit Colfax Elementary School. 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 11 at Roy Toms Plaza. Accepting electronic and office equipment, small household appliances, plus VCRs, telephones and digital cameras. Not accepting large household appliances, paint, used oil, cleaning supplies, fluorescent light bulbs and tires. Happy Mother’s Day!

Pancake Breakfast, hosted by VFW Post 2003 at Colfax Veterans Memorial Hall, 8 to 11 a.m. May 12. All the pancakes you can eat served with your choice of ham or sausage, plus orange juice and coffee. $4 for adults; $2 children under 12; $12 families of 5 or more; $1 additional for eggs fixed the way you like them. Proceeds support local veterans, current service members and their families, and with the VFW Ladies Auxiliary awards are provided to first responders and teachers as well as scholarships to local school children. 906-3342
