Anyone planning on enrolling a kindergarten student for the 2012-13 school year at Colfax Elementary is urged to register the student on that day. Students entering kindergarten in the fall 2012 must be 5 years of age on or before Nov. 1, 2012. A transitional kindergarten class will be available for students who will be age 5 from Nov. 2 to Dec. 1, 2012. . In order to reserve a place for kindergarten, children must be enrolled no later than May 4. 346-2202. To enroll a child in kindergarten or transitional kindergarten class, the child's immunization records and original certified birth certificate issued by the county or state in which the child was born is required.
