Center Stage Dance Studio offers classes in ballet, jazz, hip hop and tap for ages 5 through adult on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. For times and fees, visit the Colfax Studio at the Sierra Vista Community Center, 55 School St. or call 271-1200.

Downtown improvements will be discussed by business and property owners, community leaders, residents and interested individuals at a meeting at 6 p.m. Feb. 28 at Basement Wines/Main St. Pizza. A representative from the Small Business Development Center in Sacramento, in partnership with the Colfax Area Chamber of Commerce, will continue discussion of ways to enhance downtown traffic and spotlight Colfax. Saturday, March 16

The 13th annual St. Patrick’s Day Corned Beef and Cabbage dinner, hosted by the Colfax Ladies Auxiliary to Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 2003, begins at 6 p.m. with a happy hour and dinner at 6:30 p.m. March 16 at Colfax Veterans Memorial Hall, 22 N. Sunset Circle. Take-out dinners also available. Tickets purchased or reserved by March 13 are $12 adults, $5 children under 12, and free under 5. After March 13 or at the door tickets are $1 more. Sixth Annual Crab Feed, sponsored by Colfax Green Machine in support of local youth sports and academic programs, including the Colfax High wrestling and baseball teams, arts program and more. The event includes an all-you-can-eat crab dinner, silent auction, music, dancing and a no-host bar. Tickets are $35 per person or a table for eight at $300 (table includes free drink tickets).
