Dinosaur Day is Sunday at Sierra College in Rocklin
The Sierra College Natural History Museum presents the 2013 Dinosaur Day-Science Fest from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 10, inside and outside of Sewell Hall of the campus located at 5000 Rocklin Road, in Rocklin. Parking is free; admission is $10 for adults, $7 for children ages 4-12, and children under 4 admitted at no charge.
Along with displays and activities surrounding the study of dinosaurs, Dinosaur Day-Science Fest will include demonstrations in paleontology and physics, and a planetarium show. This biennial event offers the community a day of lively lectures, fun activities and a chance to get an up-close look at the collection of natural history specimens, including a triceratops skull, a pachycephalosaurus skull, T-rex skull replica, dinosaur leg bones, a giant theropod footprint and a full mount cast of a hypsilophodont.
