We were terribly disappointed to find that the local "wine bar" had moved into our family's favorite restaurant! My husband and I come to Colfax for family dinners fairly regularly and were always pleased with the atmosphere and service at the restaurant. Not anymore! Walking in the door and being assaulted by non-family friendly, R-rated language and the noise volume through the roof was bad enough, but then to find we had to maneuver through that to go upstairs to dine was enough to make us turn around and leave. We were furthered disturbed to find that the most conscientious and friendly server was laid off.
These decisions make no sense from a customer service point of view and our family will not be back. Perhaps more thinking should have gone into the impact these changes would have on a loyal customer base. In these economic times, can a business really afford to alienate customers? I guess this one can – sad.
