Gardeners’ Gathering seminar returns for sixth year

The Placer County Master Gardeners present their Sixth Annual Gardeners Gathering from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, March 2, at the Blue Goose Fruit Shed, 3550 Taylor Road in Loomis.

This event features five speakers who will share their ideas for home gardening as well as Master Gardener question-and-answer

booths and informational booths from other agencies related to gardeners’ interests. The event includes lunch and light refreshments. Tickets for the daylong event are $30; advance registration is required. Purchase tickets by credit card online at or in person at the UCCE office, located in the DeWitt Center at 11477 E Avenue in Auburn by cash or check. Advance registration is required.

Topics and speakers include: Creating the “4th Dimension” for Garden Diversity; Beyond Tomatoes and Zucchini by Janet Miller; From Garden to Kitchen by Joanne Neft; Adding Water to Enhance Your Garden, by Sue Golden; Creating a Healthy Garden, by Carolyn Singer.
