Three Placer High singles players and two doubles tandems finished the regular season with unbeaten records on Tuesday. So, for that matter, did the Hillmen as a team — for the third straight year. Placer capped its third 12-0 season in as many years in the Pioneer Valley League with a 7-2 victory over Bear River. The PVL championship marked the 19th consecutive league title for the Hillmen, who will be shooting for their third straight Sac-Joaquin Section team crown when the playoffs begin next week. Seniors Andy Riggs, Dan Fraguglia and Amelia Arnold all finished the regular season undefeated in singles play.
