The Colfax High boys JV basketball team picked up a pair of Pioneer Valley
League wins over the past week.
Last Friday at Lincoln, the Falcons received balanced scoring in a 49-35 win over the Zebras. Alex Tobiasz led the way with 16 points, while Jake Breeler added 14 and Ray Henry nine. Cameron Howes and John Kirwan scored four points each for Colfax in the win.
The Falcons, now 11-9 on the season and 2-3 in PVL action, notched a thrilling win at Bear River last Wednesday. Trailing the Bruins by a point with less than 10 seconds to play, the Falcons used a game-winning shot from Tobiasz in the lane as time expired for an exciting 38-37 win.
Colfax hosts Placer at 5:30 p.m. Friday in a PVL game.
