Sports, Boat & RV Show Feb. 13-16
The 56th annual Sports, Boat & RV Show is returning to Cal Expo in Sacramento over President’s Day weekend with dealers presenting the newest recreational vehicles, powerboats, fishing boats, personal watercraft, motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles, sports gear and adventure travel options.
Tickets for the show are $10 for adults and children 12 and under are free. The show runs from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday (Feb. 13) and Saturday (Feb. 14), and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday (Feb. 15) and Monday (Feb. 16).

Sacramento Autorama coming to Cal Expo
The 59th annual Sacramento Autorama will take place Feb. 6-8 at Cal Expo in Sacramento.
More than 500 vehicles will compete for awards inside all of the Cal Expo buildings. Up to another 400 vehicles will join the event Saturday, Feb. 7 for the “Autorama Drive-in.”
The hours for the Autorama are noon to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7 and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8. The trophy ceremony is at 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Admission to the event is $18 for general admission, ages 13 and up; $10 for children ages 6 to 12 and children 5 and under are free.
Families can purchase a ticket package for $40 that includes two general admission tickets, two children’s tickets and two children’s toys. Parking for the event is $10 and $2-off coupons are available at all Sacramento Les Schwab Tire Center locations and Kragen Auto Parts stores.

Four-wheel drive club hosts chili cook-off
The Capital City Mountain Goat four-wheel drive club is hosting its third annual Chili Cook-off Saturday, Jan. 31.
The cook-off will be held at 8 a.m. at the Ice House Resort, 9199 Ice House Road, Pollock Pines. Judging for the top three awards will begin at noon.
