For the time being, however, Del Oro High’s boys and girls basketball teams are both seeded No. 2 in their respective Division III playoff brackets. The boys and girls teams from Bear River, Colfax, Forest Lake Christian and Foresthill all made the playoffs in their respective divisions as well. Bear River (17-9), seeded ninth, are slated to open against eighth seed Capital Christian (21-5) in Sacramento, while 12th seed Colfax (17-10) will travel to face No. 5 Linden (20-6). On Wednesday, Bear River’s boys (20-7), seeded third, have a home date with No. 14 Linden (11-9). No. 12 Colfax (15-10), meanwhile, will play at No. 5 Central Catholic (22-5) of Modesto. On the boys side, No. 3 seed Forest Lake Christian (18-5) has a first-round home game on Wednesday against No. 14 Sacramento Adventist (8-13) of Carmichael. Sixteenth seed Foresthill (10-14) will travel Wednesday to play top-seeded Bradshaw Christian of Sacramento. All games are scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
