COLFAX - It was a Senior Night to remember here Wednesday evening for the Colfax Lady Falcons’ soccer team.

With all five of their honored seniors scoring one goal each, the Lady Falcons rolled past Bear River, 5-0, to end their Pioneer Valley League season with a record of 7-2-1.

Thursday night, Colfax will become fans of the Lincoln Zebras who play at Placer. A win or tie by the Zebras gives Colfax either the PVL crown or at least a share of it. A Placer win, however, leaves Colfax in the PVL’s second place spot.

Leading Colfax’s shutout win were senior goals from Amber Tobiasz, Brittany Thomas, Tori Henry, Kelly Harris and Katy Thomas.

Overall, Colfax, which will open the CIF playoffs either May 7 or May 9, will take a record of 11-5-4 with them into the postseason.

Colfax JVs Win PVL - Colfax's JV soccer team (9-1) wrapped up the PVL championship with a 6-0 win over the Bruins. Scoring for the Lady Falcons were Jenny Vossoghi with two goals and one each from Willow Preston, Tasha Lewis, Celine Ford and Morgan Wybrecht.
