The new girls golf program at Colfax High has set dates for its upcoming golf camp and a fundraising tournament.
A golf camp, open to any girls attending Colfax High and of all golf abilities and who have an interest in the sport, will be held from 9 a.m. to noon each day July 19-20 at The Ridge in Auburn. The golf camp, hosted by Ridge assistant pro Jason Rogers and Colfax High girls golf coach Gary Rooker, is free of charge.
The fundraising golf tournament for the Lady Falcons is set for Saturday. Aug. 24. More sign-up information will be available soon.

Colfax Youth Soccer signups
The Colfax Youth Soccer Club is still taking on-line registrations for the 2013 season. Registration information and forms can be found on the club’s website at www.colfaxyouth soccer.com.

Team Green soccer camp
The 49er United Team Green Soccer Academy will be hosting a local area soccer camp in Colfax July 29-Aug. 3 at Colfax Elementary School.
Led by local competitive coaches, trainers, and high school coaching staff members, the Green Soccer Academy is intent on improving soccer skills and knowledge of the game. The academy’s curriculum is also geared toward a challenging and fun environment for all camp attendees.
The camps are open to boys and girls ages 6-14. The cost for the camps is $80, which includes a free camp T-shirt. Sibling discounts are available with the fee for the second child at $30, third child at $20, and a fourth child can participate free of charge.
