Colfax Area Heritage Museum open daily from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 99 Railroad St. 346-8599

Center Stage Dance Studio offers classes in ballet, jazz, hip hop and tap for ages 5 through adult on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. For times and fees, visit the Colfax Studio at the Sierra Vista Community Center, 55 School St. or call 271-1200.

“Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass and What Alice Found There,” presented by Colfax High School’s Creators of Riveting Entertainment. 7 p.m. Nov. 8-10 and Nov. 15-17, and 2 p.m. Nov. 10 and 17, in the Colfax High Performing Arts Center. Sunday, Nov. 11

Pancake Breakfast, hosted by VFW Post 2003 at Colfax Veterans Memorial Hall, 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Nov. 11. All the pancakes you can eat served with your choice of ham or sausage, plus orange juice and coffee. $4 for adults; $2 children under 12; $12 families of 5 or more; $1 additional for eggs fixed the way you like them. Proceeds support local veterans, current service members and their families, and with the VFW Ladies Auxiliary awards are provided to first responders and teachers as well as scholarships to local school children. 906-3342

Veterans Day memorial flag ceremony, raising a new POW/MIA flag that will perpetually fly at the cemetery, 1 p.m. Nov. 11 at Colfax Public Cemetery. The VFW and American Legion are providing the funding to perpetually light flagpole 24/7. Also putting up flags at the site of all veterans’ graves will be VFW and American Legion members, Boy Scouts and other volunteers. Following the ceremony, a tour to honor Purple Heart and Medal recipients interred at the cemetery will be conducted by the Colfax Historical Society.
