The Jess E. Taylor, VFW Ladies Auxiliary 2003, wishes to extend its grateful thanks to the community for its continued overwhelming support of our March 20 St. Patrick’s Day Dinner and Raffle. The 11th annual dinner and raffle has been responsible for raising the necessary funds to award more than $1,600 at local schools this year. Eighteen local businesses generously donated items for our raffle. While space won’t allow us to mention them all by name, they include popular restaurants, a car dealership, hairdressers, the auto parts store, insurance, grocery, video, and clothing stores as well as several local residents. We thank these businesses and individuals and urge our community to shop locally to support the businesses that have so generously supported us throughout the years. The Ladies Auxiliary also acknowledges the generous adult Reno casino raffle gifts donated by Silver Legacy, Harrah’s, and El Dorado Hotel. The winners of those prizes were Sharon and Roland Champagne, Sharol and Ken George, and Dick Johnson. Beth Murphy, Youth Program Chairman
