A Weimar man died Sunday after he reportedly crashed the quad he was driving.
Kenneth Wright, 52, was pronounced dead at the scene after emergency responders found him at about 7:15 p.m. under his 2004 Honda Foreman ES quad off-road vehicle, according to Sgt. Pete Warmerdam with the California Highway Patrol.
Warmerdam said Wright was driving at an unknown speed on Pine Cone Pete Road, a private dirt road, when, for reasons unknown, his quad swerved to the right, struck a small dirt berm and rolled over.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
