Young cribbage players to compete

Chicago Park School to host tournament

All youth cribbage players 18 years of age and under can participate in the largest and longest-running youth cribbage tournament in the United States, according to Chicago Park School Principal Dan Zeisler. The 20th Annual Sierra Youth Cribbage Tournament begins at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, in the school's gymnasium. 

The entry fee for the tournament is $5 and includes a catered luncheon and snacks throughout the day. In order to play, a child must understand the basic concepts of cribbage.

Winners will compete for prizes, everyone who signs up gets a free custom cribbage T-shirt, and there will be a free raffle for all who participate.
