Placer County Supervisor Bruce Kranz will be unable to attend a coffee klatch scheduled Friday in Colfax.

However, county Agriculture Marketing Director Nancyjo Rieske has agreed to host the meeting and discuss issues within her area of expertise.

The meeting will take place from 8 to 9 a.m. at TJ’s Roadhouse, 520 South Auburn St.

Supervisor Kranz has been holding coffee klatches in Colfax on the second Friday of each month since he joined the county Board of Supervisors in January 2005.

The meetings provide him with an opportunity to talk with residents about what’s going on in their neighborhoods and how they feel about county issues.

Supervisor Kranz represents the 5th District, which stretches from north Auburn to Lake Tahoe.
