Thousands attended the first of two weekends Classic Christmas celebrations in Old Town Auburn Saturday night. Hosted by the Old Town Business Association the event featured fantastic ways to celebrate the holiday season in Auburn.
Little ones could meet Santa and give him their Christmas lists; many enjoyed the music by Brotherly Mud or the Auburn Winds brass ensemble playing Christmas music. Great food and craft beers were available from local restaurants, vendors, and local breweries. All of the Old Town Auburn businesses were open offering, food, hot drinks and treats. Craft vendors lined the Old Town streets with finely made handcrafted gifts. Fire pits throughout Old Town Auburn kept all who needed some heat warm. Perfect weather made the evening wonderful for a holiday outing. The celebration continues Dec.15 for the second weekend of the Classic Christmas in Old Town. The event begins at 5 p.m. and continues until 9 p.m.
