Dori Barrett/Colfax Record More than 500 people gathered last Sunday at Meadow Vista Park to bid a final farewell to Gary Todd, who died June 30 after suffering a massive heart attack. Hosted by his family, the afternoon celebration included a community style potluck, music by several local bands and the sharing of fond memories. Pene, Todd?s wife of 27 years, proudly stands with her sons, Deron, Gregory and Joseph Glenn.

Dori Barrett/Colfax Record A U.S. flag that had been flown over the U.S.S. Arizona Memorial in Pearl Harbor was given to Gary Todd's widow at Sunday's celebration. Ken Delfino, president of Colfax Pride, the non-profit organization Todd had helped form, presented the flag.
