Sunday May 03 2009 comments Muddy Coolest 24 MTB By: Michael Kirby/Auburn Jounal -A +A The third annual Coolest 24 Mountain Bike Race got going at noon on Saturday at the Olmstead Loop in Cool. Racers rode to raise money to fight cancer in eight hour and twenty-four endurance races. Participants rode in teams or solo efforts as a steady rain fell all weekend making the trail muddy and slick. Riders still recognizable at the beginning of the race. Riders on rain soaked trails.
