The smokey air and hot temperatures didn?t deter this hardy group of musicians nor did it dampen the spirits of the fans attending the alfresco concert. Bass player Talor Jacobs said the hot temps didn?t matter. ?It?s always fun to play,? he said. The 17- to 19-year-olds have been playing together for three years, however, two of their members will be moving on in the fall. Luke Ramseth, will head for Humboldt University in the fall, while Jacobs is going to San Francisco State. Aisle 6 members, Spencer Kilpatrick, Ramseth, Robert Buscher, Kurtis Ostrom and Jacobs will perform at the end of the month at the Rhythm Caf? in Grass Valley. The next program on the Summer Reading Program series, sponsored by the Colfax Friends of the Library, will be ?Tarantulas, Scorpions and Snakes ? Oh My!? at 3 p.m. on Thursday, July 17 in the park. A craft day is being planned for 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 23.
